This Privacy Policy applies to The Lilypad Initiative LLC (“Lily,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a private membership network that facilitates introductions between women interested in shared living compatibility.

  • Payment information: Credit card or bank account details processed through our secure payment processor

  • Communications: Communications submitted to Lily through forms, email, surveys, or customer support channels

  • Children's information (if applicable): If you are a parent, you may provide information about your children including ages, schedules, and needs — but we do NOT knowingly collect information directly from children under 13

When you use the Lily platform, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage:

These providers may confirm screening completion, eligibility status, and other limited verification information necessary to support Lily’s onboarding and membership review processes.

  • Social media: If you choose to connect your Lily account to a social media account (e.g., Facebook), we may receive your public profile information

  • Payment processors: We receive transaction confirmation and payment status from our payment processor, but we do NOT store your full credit card number

3.1  To Provide the Lily Platform

  • Match you with compatible Guests or Hosts based on your preferences and compatibility criteria

  • Facilitate introductions between compatible members

  • Process payments and send transaction confirmations

  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries


3.2  For Safety and Security

  • Conduct background checks on Guests and Hosts (with your consent)

  • Verify the identity of users to prevent fraud and abuse

  • Review submitted photos, videos, and profile materials for platform quality and onboarding purposes

  • Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines

  • Investigate and respond to reports of abuse, harassment, or illegal activity


3.3  To Improve Our Services

  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform and develop new features

  • Conduct research and surveys to understand user needs

3.4  For Marketing and Communications

• housing preferences and compatibility information

We do not share your exact address, phone number, or background screening information unless you choose to share that information directly.


4.2  With Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the platform, including:

  • Background check providers (FCRA-compliant screening companies)

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)

  • Cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)

  • Email and communication services

  • Analytics and data service providers

  • Customer support tools

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to Lily.

Lily recognizes that some members may be navigating sensitive life transitions. Members should avoid sharing unnecessary personal information until they are comfortable doing so. Lily encourages members to exercise discretion when sharing contact details, addresses, schedules, financial information, or family details.

7.2  Data Security Measures

Lily uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or loss.


8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Lily is intended for use by adults ages 18 and older. We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent using Lily, you may provide information about your children (such as their ages and schedules) to help us match you with compatible housing. However, we do NOT collect this information directly from children, and we do NOT create accounts for children.
